Description
Join us for this exciting sport, one of the fastest growing in the world. People of all ages are fascinated by the movements and excitement of fencing and are eager to find a place that they can go and learn this original, modern sport.
This six-week interactive program allows children (and their parent) to cut, glue, color, paint, sprinkle, make a mess, and have some fun. (Ages 2-4)
Reading Recreation is partnering with Creative Arts to offer exceptional programming and training in visual arts, music and theatre. Together we are able to bring you quality arts programming. Creative Arts is a non-profit community arts school offering programs to all ages and abilities taught by kind and professional instructors.
Students take on real-life engineering challenges that explore concepts in physics, architecture, mechanical and structural engineering with over 100,000 pieces of LEGO material. (Grades 3-5)
Create, play and learn. Build a town, city or star base with houses, buildings, pyramids, bridges, tunnels, towers and more. (Grades K-2)
Participants will learn the fundamental skills of volleyball in a group setting. (Grades 4-5)
The focus of this program is to teach new players the sport of volleyball through fun drills and games. If a participant has been in at least two (2) previous Rocket Volleyball programs, she should consider our new Rocket Power Program. (Grades 6-8)
This program is being offered to volleyball players interested in a more competitive aspect of the game. This program is recommended for those players who have participated in at least two (2) Rocket Programs and have a good understanding of the fundamental skills of the game. (Grades 6-8)
This program is part of our Saturday Morning Sports Series for boys and girls ages 4-5. This program will promote the basics of hitting off the tee, throwing, fielding and base running. (Ages 4-5)
This program is part of our Saturday Morning Sports Series for boys and girls ages 4-5. This program will teach the fundamentals of soccer as well as focus on game play. (Ages 4-5)
This program is part of our Saturday Morning Sports Series for boys and girls ages 4-5. This program will work on advanced skills such as shooting properly, dribbling, passing and catching the ball.
This program introduces the Junior Golfer to the basics of Golf in a fun clinic atmosphere. All aspects of the game (putting, full swing, short game and on course, using the latest in computer technology) will be covered during this four-week program. (Ages 9-15)
This junior advanced clinic is for juniors who already play, play in junior tournaments or on a school team. (Ages 9-13 and 14-16)
"March Madness" comes to Reading once again! Wrap-up and review the 2010-2011 basketball season with Reading Memorial High School Girl's Basketball Varsity Coach, Kim Penney, and her Varsity team at the 4th Annual March Madness Camp for Girls in Grades K-8.
This i9 Sports program is designed to provide well-organized, entertaining and educational sports program for youth athletes. (Grades 3-5)
Reading Recreation is proud to offer this program to the youth work force of our community. This program is being directed by Winchester Hospital staff, for boys and girls grades 5 and up.
Reading Recreation T-Ball is for boys and girls ages 5 and 6. Players will be placed on teams according to age and will receive their own shirt and hat.
This April vacation program will give youngsters (ages 3-5 and 6-8) a chance to try multiple sports such as T-Ball, Soccer, Basketball and other great games.
Players will have fun learning the basic soccer skills with former College Players and Reading Memorial High School Varsity Players and Coaches. (Ages 4-7)
This 5-week clinic is designed for beginner and intermediate players. Sessions will be held outdoors. (Grades 3-8)
Children can start building a solid foundation in piano playing with four 30-minute lessons. (Ages 4.5 and up)
