Join us for this exciting sport, one of the fastest growing in the world. People of all ages are fascinated by the movements and excitement of fencing and are eager to find a place that they can go and learn this original, modern sport. Fencing develops physical fitness, the ability to develop strategy, concentration, as well as camaraderie and respect. Learn fencing with Michael Tarascio, former member of the United States World Championship Team.

EQUIPMENT POLICY & RENTAL:
Our policy is that NEFA provides new fencers with equipment for the first 4 weeks or first 8 weeks.  This is intended to give new fencers an opportunity to try out this sport without having to purchase a set of gear.  For the second and each subsequent session, there is a rental fee payable to the instructor of $20 for 4 classes and $40 for 8 classes.  An individual may instead purchase (recommended) a complete new beginner set (7 pieces) that costs approximately $200. The set includes a foil, mask, jacket, glove, underarm protector, plastic chest protector and a fencing bag.
