Traffic Crash Reports
Police officer's accident report statement is not available. You will receive the necessary information to fill out your report, as long as the information is available at the time of your request. To expedite the process of locating your report, you should know the date, time and location of the accident. If possible, you should have the names of the operators involved.

Complete reports are sent to Lawyers and/or Insurance Companies, upon receipt of written request.

Accident report costs:

$ 5.00 through the mail.

Parking Tickets
Parking Tickets can be paid at the police station 7:30am-3:30pm Monday through Friday.
A five dollar late fee is charged when the ticket is paid beyond 21 days after being issued.
Once the ticket has been marked "at the registry," only cash or money order is accepted as payment.
Other Police Reports
To expedite the process of locating your report, you should know the date, time and location of the incident. You should also know the name of the officer that handled the report and/or the Incident Reporting number. You may not need all of the above information, however, the more you have the faster your request will be processed.  No reports shall be released from the police station without direct permission from the Chief of Police.

Reports awaiting court dates are NOT available. The public must obtain these reports through the District Attorney's Office located at Woburn District Court, Woburn, MA. (781) 933-9586.

All reports, other than motor vehicle accident reports cost:
         
           $1.00 per page through the mail.

Do you need a copy of a traffic crash report or incident report from the Reading Police Department?  If you do: (REQUEST A FORM) and print it out.  Fill out the form, bring it into the police department and save yourself some time!
