What are controlled
substances?
These are medications that have a high
potential for abuse and are regulated under
the Controlled Substances Act of 1970.
Some common medications include Xanax,
Adderall, Subutex, Soma, Klonopin, Codeine,
Dexedrine, Valium, Fentora, Hyrdocodene,
Hydromorphone, Methadone, Ativan,
Demerol, Titalin, Oxycodone, Percocet,
Percodan, Talwin, Adipex, Darvocet, Halcion,
and Ambien.

(Residents will now have a safe location to discard unused controlled substances, 24 hours a day/7 days a week at the RPD. Instructions are clearly posted in the lobby on how to use the collection unit)
