Real Estate taxes are due February 1, 2010
The white mail box outside of Town Hall will be emptied promptly at 5:00pm that night. Any payments left after 5:00pm on Monday night will be considered late and processed the next day.
Please remember that demand fees for late payments have been increased by a vote of Town Meeting to $25.00 as of January 1, 2009. This is in addition to interest charges for late payments.
This demand fee applies to real estate, personal property, and excise tax bills. Please note that the demand fee is an identical $25.00 amount for all types of these bills, despite the fact that a real estate bill may be several times larger than an excise tax bill.
