Pinevale

pinev4.jpgPinevale's is a 17 acre area  of Conservation Land, located in the southern part of Town off of  Pinevale Ave, a dead-end street directly off of Main St.  There is a parking space right in front of its sign,  enough for three or possibly four cars.

pinev1.jpgPinevale is a great place for a walk through the  woods. This is a very nice area with a fairly extensive  trail system, all of which are easily identified by red  blazes. The streams can be  crossed on makeshift bridges, all of which are in adequate  shape.

Pinevale is an oak and pine forest cut into  three parts by a pair of streams running through it. Near  these streams, the land takes on a wetland aspect. Between the streams, the  forest thins out and offers fairly large clear areas. All  in all, this is a nice site in which to take a nature walk or  simply explore.pinev2.jpg
