Grant Applications Due by October 15, 2009
Each year, the Reading Cultural Council awards a number of grants to individuals and organizations offering cultural programs that serve our community. These include school field trips, afterschool programs, concerts, festivals, lectures, theater, dance, music, and film. The projects take place in schools, community centers, libraries, elder care facilities, town halls, parks, and wherever the community comes together. The Reading Cultural Council Program is part of the Local Cultural Council (LCC) program, a statewide cultural funding network authorized and funded by the Massachusetts Cultural Council.
Applications for the FY09-10 grant cycle are now available. Download the application or pick one up at the public library or Town Hall. Deadline for submission is October 15, 2009.
Guidelines for completing and submitting your application are available on the web:
Please note: grants from LCCs are reimbursement-based. (The applicant expends their own money, and if approved for a grant, then submits paperwork for reimbursement.)
