Forest Acres Subdivision
Carolyn Florence LLC is proposing to subdivide 97 and 101 Forest Street into five (5) buildable residential lots to be be accessed by a proposed cud-de-sac. The project will include the construction of water and sewer lines which will be connected into the municipal systems. A detention basin is proposed on Lot 4 to treat stormwater and will be maintained by the Town after project completion. The applicant is seeking a two waivers from the Reading Subdivsion Rules and Regulations because the project will only include a sidewalk on one side of the proposed way and the drainage pipes will not have the required 4-feet of cover. This project requires the filing of a Notice of Intent (NOI) with the Conservation Commission for work within the buffer zone of regulated wetland resource areas. Approximately 24 trees larger than 12" in caliper will be removed, none of which are within the Forest Street right-of-way.
Public Hearing
The Public Hearing for the proposed subdivision was opened on February 6, 2012 and closed on February 27, 2012. The Board voted to approve the Definitive Subdivision Plans for the proposed Forest Acres Subdivision.
